10K course description - Start on a gravel road for a short out and back to get you warmed up. Then up a steep rocky trail that will test your lungs and legs but will get you on top of a ridge with gorgeous views and the first aid station. A trail around the solar panels and then the downhill fun section begins. A short descent down a gravel road which will lead you to a smooth, downhill trail in a protected canyon and right next to the turbines. You will feel like you are flying! At the bottom you connect to a rolling gravel road section and your second aid station. What goes down must come back up! Up a smooth trail with a couple of rocky sections and round the corner to the finish line! You did it! About 20% on gravel road and 80% on single and double track trail.

Half Marathon course description - Start on a gravel road for a short out and back to get you warmed up. Then up a steep rocky trail that will test your lungs and legs but will get you on top of a ridge with gorgeous views and your first aid station. Run along the top of the ridge with huge views all around, drop down to a smooth, fluffy downhill trail in a protected canyon which will rocket you past an old growth tree, bird feeding ponds and lots of downhill. You will feel like you are flying! At the bottom will be your second aid station and you connect to a rolling gravel road section, lots of ups and downs will keep it interesting. At the  third aid station you will continue down even further on the pavement (about a mile and a half). Your fourth aid station starts a rolling, smooth trail section complete with fields of flowers and a salt lick for the local residents. Your last aid station before the final climb. What goes down must come back up! After some climbing you connect to a rolling gravel road section.  Up a smooth trail with a couple of rocky sections and round the corner to the finish line! You did it! About 10% on pavement, 20% on gravel road and the rest on single and double track trail.
